My wife, who has had a TBI and suffers from MS, was wanting to get back into riding bicycles since one of her high school friends rides in the neighborhood. Turns out her doctors told her that a bicycle or a trike were a big no-no, even with a helmet. After doing some reading, we found out about recumbent trikes and asked them (the doctors) about it for her. They both agreed that she would be fairly safe on one of them - but emphasized that injury could still happen and cause her major problems. She decided it was worth the "risk" and so we started checking around locally to find a dealer in recumbent trikes. We found one in town, and they dealt with TrailMate and Sun Seeker. She looked online and really liked the style of the X3-AX - so we are ordering it today for her. The trike should be in by tomorrow and then assembled and ready for her to ride this weekend on it. She's really looking forward to it.
